Upon arrival at Port Blair. You will be met by your Earnest Educational Tour Director who will assist you to your coach for your onward ride to the hotel. After check-in and lunch, we will leave for a half-day excursion to the city. We will visit the Marine Museum, the Cottage Industries Emporium, the Anthropological Museum, Corbyn’s Cove Beach, and later proceed towards Cellular jail for the evening sound and light show. We have included this show for you on the first day so that you come to know the history of the place you are visiting on the very first day, this will help you enjoy this place more or rather may leave you more intrigued and you may like to look for answers while on this tour. After breakfast we take a Luxury Catamaran MV Makruzz to Havelock Island, after arrival check-in at the Resort, we will today enjoy a few hours of Jet Ski Ride for the group. Lunch and proceed to visit the Lighthouse. Later proceed to Radha Nagar beach and Elephant beach to spend time with the magnificent creature where we will indulge in conversation with the elephant keeper and help him wash and bathe the elephants. At beach no 7, we will give you Sand Pits and you will divide yourself into teams and will create castles and cities from the sand, this will test your creativity and will help you work in a team systematically, we know Rome was not built in a day, but your Sand Castles will be, your teachers will be your judges and the team who presents the best model will get a special treat. Today we will also undertake a task to clean the beach and put boards at all prominent places to help guide other tourists to help keep the beach clean and to conserve nature, we are doing this today to understand the importance of conservation of nature for future generations to come and to help others understand its importance. One selfless act takes us a long way. Evening Dinner on your return to the Hotel. We will give you an opportunity to organize a bonfire evening for yourself with the help of local resources made available to you, without spending any money, so this becomes a task for you all to complete. Overnight stay at Havelock.
After breakfast, we will walk down to the PADI Diving center to indulge in the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) scope. DSD is the world’s most popular introduction to the diving program with the Dive Today philosophy. This entry-level program allows you to experience the magic of being and breathing underwater. A briefing of equipment and basic breathing skills, followed by a practice session in shallow water prepares you for the experience of a lifetime. You’ll explore wonderful coral reefs, feel the amazing weightlessness of diving, and see things you’ve never seen before, all on your very first dive! The constant supervision and guidance of our PADI-certified dive masters and instructors make this the perfect first step towards satisfying your curiosity about the sea. DSD skills may be credited towards the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Watercourses. Spend the afternoon Snorkeling at the Elephant beach with gears. (Snorkeling equipment, Life jackets, Lifebuoys and all safety equipment) along with your expert instructor who will guide you about all the equipment and their use, safety, and other measures which are required to be taken while indulging yourself in this activity. We are sure that here in Andaman’s you will be stepping up in life, growing from boys to men, and taking responsibility for every action, and get ready to face the challenges posed by growing competition in everything that touches you. Early morning wake-up call at 0300 hrs, breakfast & departure at 4:00 am to Baratang Island, (110 Kms) you will be on the road driving, crossing the grand Andaman Trunk Road, covered with dense forests on both the sides. Proceed for sightseeing to the Lime Stone caves and visiting the habitat of the Jarawa Tribes. These ancient caves are located about 50 minutes (by sea) away from Barathang Jetty & small nature walk on the way to the limestone cave, one can have mangroves rides also to visit the Limestone Caves, today we will trek dense forests, with our trekking instructor, these forests are so dense that people sometimes get lost for days together, the simple plan is to stick together as a team, One for All, and All for One, I am sure we have all heard this before, yes we will be experiencing the thrill here. Your boat journey through the heart of dense mangrove forest is simply breathtaking. The boat ride here is a lifetime experience. At the limestone caves remember to carry torchlight, it’s very dark inside. Thereafter proceed for visit to the Mud Volcano, a strange phenomenon, but not so strange when you come to apply science to it. Later in the evening return to Port Blair. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, we will be departing to visit the Chidiyatapu at the southern-most tip of South Andamans which is particularly abundant in birdlife after which we will visit the Burmah Nulla to see how simply but deftly coir rope is made. The students will be able to make coir ropes with the help of the workers and try their hand at a new and interesting activity. Later after lunch, we will go down to the Wandoor beach on the west coast where we will stop at the rubber plantations to see the rural methods used to tapping and processing rubber. Observe the interesting marine life off the Grub island. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast proceeds for half day city tour visiting the Chatham Saw Mill – Asia’s biggest and oldest mill which dates back to 1883 and was setup by the British, the Zoological Gardens, we will set our eyes on the WIMCO Factory – the Match factory setup by the Swedish Western Match Company in 1929 and take you to the local market where you can shop for souvenirs. An evening with music, Gala dinner, and overnight at hotel.
In the morning, get ready to depart with everlasting memories of the tour, of new bonding that you have made with your colleagues, of learning in silence that you have learned which will help you all in times to come.
