Known as the hanging valley with an exotic beauty, Har ki dun weather simply astonishes you and takes you through some of the most beautiful scenes.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive at Dehradun

After reaching Dehradun early in the morning, directly head off on a car journey to the origin point of the Har Ki Dun trek. After 10 hours drive, you will finally reach the quaint little village of Sankri. Overnight stay at Sankri

Day 2Sankri - Taluka ; Taluka to Osla

Start for Taluka and reach until afternoon. Travel through the Siyan Gad by bridge to reach Dhatmir village and cross the Ton River as well. Evening will be delighted with a lively bonfire, snacks, different folk lores about the locale and a delicious dinner

Day 3Osla - Har ki Dun

On arrival at the Pass, settle down in the campsite with peaks of Har Ki Dun and Swargarohini towering above.

Day 4Har Ki Dun trek - Jaundhar Glacier - Har Ki Doon camp

Reach to  Swargarohini campsite after a long day of trekking for about 15km, retire for the night in the camp.

Day 5Har Ki Dun - Osla

Reaching Osla takes around 3-4 hrs and covers around a total of 11km. On arriving Osla, spend the night in the rest houses or tents provided. 

Day 6Osla - Sankri

After about 6 to 7 hours, finally, arrive back to Sankri; overnight stay in Sankri.

Day 7Depart to your home

With the completion of the seven-day tours, collect the souvenirs and keep them with u forever.

Which type of shoes should I carry on Har Ki Doon Trek?

Trekking shoes and Snow boots are a must have for this trek. The terrain varies extremely so make sure you care these.

What will be the temperature at Har ki doon trek?

The average temperature in Har ki doon region ranges from 10 degrees to 15 degrees during the day time. The temperature can also drop down to as low as to 2 degrees to 5 degrees in the night. Keep in mind both the temperature and wind flow while packing your woolens.

What is the distance between Dehradun to Har Ki Doon?

The distance between Dehradun to har ki dun is around 98.7 km. After reaching Dehradun you will have to drive to Sankri which is the origin point of Har ki dun trek. Once you reach Dehradun you will be picked up and then drove to Sankri and then to Taluka from where you will begin your trek.

How much weight will I have to carry during Har Ki Doon?

It is advisable to carry a 6 Ltr backpack, weight to be carried will depend of you requirements and capacity.

Will there be mobile connectivity on Har Ki Doon trek?

On your Har Ki Dun trek while you are at Purola and Sankri you will have intermittent BSNL connection. So before heading out for the trek inform your family members about poor connectivity during the trek. While you are staying at the guesthouse in Sankri there will be charging point where you can charge your mobiles

Hey there. I just had an amazing trip. The operator made all the arrangements. Though I was travelling Solo, I was surrounded with company of good locals and other fellow trekkers, all heading towards Har Ki Dun. It was 07 days trek & was a awesomely memorable journey.
