The best months to visit Seychelles are April, May, October and November. These months are a middle ground for the northwest trade winds (from November through March) that makes it neither too hot nor too humid. The cooler southeast trade winds defining the time from April through October is further make it a perfect time to explore the country!

The best and the most viable way to reach Seychelles is by taking a flight. To reach Seychelles from Mumbai, book Air Seychelles flight from Mumbai Airport (BOM) to SEZ Airport in Seychelles near Victoria. From Kolkata to Mahe island, there are about five flights.

Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands. Despite various islands adding to its beauty and authenticity, it has an ancient and indigenous charm of its own. Scroll through, know more!

  • Mahe Island

It is the largest island of the Seychelles archipelago and indeed the most visited islands by the tourists. Mahé island abounds in luxuriant forests, high mountain ranges of Seychelles, and over 65 beaches with a stupendous collection of fauna and flora! The island is also famous for the Beau Vallon beach and the Victoria City – one of the tiniest capital cities of the world. The island is just so amazing for a tourist in search of tranquillity and eye-catching scenarios. Trust us, you could never get enough of it- from bird-watching to snorkelling to photography and sun-bathing, there’s just so much to do and explore!

  • Praslin Island

UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette- two of the most amazing beaches of the world. The most intriguing part is that this island is on the Indian Ocean and that is what makes it the most notable island on the face of the earth! The Praslin National park makes you a soulful patron to black parrots- the rarest species of parrots- in abundance! P.s, visit Coco de mer and see the world’s biggest coconuts.

  • Cousine Island

For the animal lover in you, here’s some great news! The Cousine island is known to be the housing several endangered and exotic species of birds & animals. These include, inter alia, Seychelles brush warbler, hawksbill turtle, Seychelles magpie robin, Seychelles turtledove, and wedge-tailed shearwater. The place is highly private and yes therefore, preserved. Peace and quality time are just so much, but nothing when you expect the same from here!

  • Bird Island

Bird Island is home to dugongs (sea cows) and over a million migratory birds to be seen here from May to November. One can sit in peace with a loved one within their arms and watch birds like- fairy terns, sooty terns, noddy terns, saunders’s terns, cardinals, ground doves, crested terns, plovers, and Giant land tortoises on this island.

  • Moyenne Island

Well, you do have heard about tortoises living for over 150 years. How would you react when you actually come across the Giant Tortoises on this island that rather roam here freely? Exciting, isn’t it?! Located towards the north coast of Mahe island, this island was abandoned until a Yorkshire editor purchased it in late 1960s and was the only person to inhabit the island until his death in 2012. It’s a nature reserve now and is visited over by a number of tourists indeed!

  • Fregate Island

Now, here’s fun for you! The island has a thick forest cover and is indeed known as the most amazing place on earth for water sports, such as scuba diving, snorkelling, and yachting. The Anse Victorin beach here has been voted by the Times as the World’s best beach. So, there are amazing scenes and sceneries, bird-watching, water activities, absolute peace and vibrant hues all over. What else do you need?!

  • Beau Vallon Beach

The beach offers water-sports – such as jet skiing and water skiing – and some stupendous views of the Silhouette island. This one is a commercial beach and is therefore, hoarded with a number of hotels and amazing restaurants. P.s, Enjoy the tasty pomegranate and the ice creams while strolling on the beach.

  • Sainte Anne Marine National Park

This National park is a group of 6 closely located islands off the coast of Mahé. The island makes travellers dive right into the diverse marine life of the park’s coral reefs. Best water sport activities here include- snorkelling and scuba diving!

A brief conclusion

Seychelles is an African country that’s much known and respected for its being best at crime management, hence, very less crimes. The country is safe, peaceful and is abundantly shoved with natural resources and exquisite fauna and flora! The country might be on a little expensive side but it’s never a disappointment for people in search of lone time and concord.

There’s just so so much to explore in here and one might go bananas altogether. Book your tickets ASAP. And all this while, from booking to finally have a perfect staycation, remember the keyword in here. And that’s- PAMPERING YOURSELF!!
