Important Information to Note:

  • Resorts World Cruises requires all guests above the age of 12 to be fully vaccinated. Vaccinated Guests must have received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) COVID-19 vaccines including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective and boosters for eligible individuals. Overseas travellers can refer to https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart for the national requirements.
  • All guests below the age of 12 are required to take a COVID-19 ART at their own expense within 1 day prior to the ship departure time and receive a negative result before arriving at the cruise terminal for check-in formalities. The test can be taken at any clinic locally or overseas, at any of the Quick Test Centre or Combined Test Centre in Singapore or over virtually supervised test with an approved private medical service provider. The test can only be taken earliest 1 day prior to the ship departure time.
  • RW Cruises Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel or substitute any scheduled port of call/itinerary/price/programme at any time without prior notice
  • Distance from the Singapore Changi Airport to the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore departure port is approx 25-45 Mins. (Depending on the traffic)
  • Distance from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to the Port Klang Cruise Terminal departure port is approx 70-90 Mins. (Depending on the traffic)
  • Checkin starts approx 4 hours prior to the sailing time and closes approx 2 hours before the sailing time. Online Cruise Web Check-IN is must. 
  • Your cabin key is also a currency card for the cruise, all the onboard purchases/gratuities will be added in the same and the final amount would have to be settled at the time of check out
  • You would get a Daily Programme List once you check in, the same would contain the details of all the onboard activities and entertainment shows
  • You can’t carry alcohol on board, liquor packages can be booked on board
  • A swimming costume is mandatory to access the swimming pool
  • Check out formalities takes almost two hours (please plan your return Flight accordingly)
  • Singapore SG arrival card needs to be filled by the Guest 2 times. (While Entering Singapore and While ReEntering Singapore from Cruise).

3. Are cruise bookings open to all travellers?

  • For departures from Singapore and Malaysia, Resorts World Cruises bookings for the Genting Dream are open to all Singapore and Malaysian residents & non-residents, international travellers with travel insurance and valid visa (where applicable).
  • In line with Singapore’s Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement on 24 August recently, kindly be informed with effect from 29 August 2022, guests embarking on the Genting Dream from either homeport in Singapore or Port Klang (Malaysia) will no longer be required to undergo a pre cruise Antigen Rapid Test (ART) for COVID-19.
  • In addition to the announcement, mask-wearing at indoor venues on board the ship will no longer be required as per the Singapore ministry’s latest guidelines.
  • • With immediate effect, guests embarking on the Genting Dream from Singapore will no longer be required to undergo any pre-cruise verification process of their vaccination status for COVID-19. This is in line with the Multi-Ministry Task Force guidelines in lifting all Vaccination-Differentiated Safe (VDS) management measures in Singapore. However, kindly note guests above the age of 12 (13 years and older) embarking from Port Klang will still be required to present their fully vaccinated status at the Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT) to be eligible to cruise.

4. What are the boarding requirements for Genting Dream under Resorts World Cruises?

Guests above the age of 12 (13 years and older) embarking from Port Klang will still be required to present their fully vaccinated status at the Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT) to be eligible to cruise
International travellers entering Singapore or Malaysia will have to fulfil the mandatory Border & Health Control Measures in Response to COVID-19 as implemented by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority to be eligible to cruise.
In line with Singapore’s Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement on 24 August recently, kindly be informed with effect from 29 August 2022, guests embarking on the Genting Dream from either homeport in Singapore or Port Klang (Malaysia) will no longer be required to undergo a pre cruise Antigen Rapid Test (ART) for COVID-19.

  • In line with Singapore’s Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement on 24 August recently, kindly be informed with effect from 29 August 2022, guests embarking on the Genting Dream from either homeport in Singapore or Port Klang (Malaysia) will no longer be required to undergo a pre cruise Antigen Rapid Test (ART) for COVID-19.

6. What is the flow for checking and embarkation?

STEP 1: Guest are required to arrive and check-in at the cruise terminal according to the appointed time.
STEP 2: At Terminal Entrance
STEP 3: Proceed for Check-In and Boarding.

7. If there is a change / cancelation of itinerary, how far in advance will Resorts World Cruises notify guests of the change / cancellation

  • We will update our guests soonest possible should there be a need for a change of itinerary or cancelation due to unforeseen circumstances.

8. What cabin categories are available for booking on Genting Dream? And the pricing?

  • Bookings will be available from Interior onwards (including Balcony, Balcony Deluxe, Palace Suite, Palace Deluxe Suite, Palace Premium Deluxe, Palace Penthouse & Palace Villa)

9. I am concerned about the crew on board. What preventive measures are taken to ensure crew members are COVID-19 free?

  • We would like to assure you that the safety and well-being of both our guests and crew is our number one priority. As such, together with the Singapore authorities, we have put in place stringent screening processes and a series of mandatory COVID-19 testing for all crew signing-up for active duty on the ship with regular testing on board.

10. Will guests be required to wear face masks?

  • In line with Singapore’s Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement on 24 August recently, kindly be informed with effect from 29 August 2022, mask-wearing at indoor venues on board the ship will no longer be required as per the Singapore ministry’s latest guidelines.

11. Will there be restrictions on capacity when sailing resumes?

  • In accordance with the prevailing Singapore authority guidelines and announcement, Genting Dream will operate at full (100%) passenger capacity.

12. What is the maximum capacity of Genting Dream?

  • Based on prevailing national guidelines and a safety measure, Genting Dream will operate at the maximum passenger capacity, accommodating over 3,352 passengers.

13. In terms of air ventilation is there any recirculation of air on the ship?

Genting Dream ship design enables 100% external fresh air to be filtered and supplied to the cabins and on board public areas – ensuring a constant and healthy flow of fresh air throughout the vessel with no recirculation of air between cabins within the ship.

14. Will there be any medical officers on board that are specialized to handle any potential COVID-19 outbreak? Also is the ship well equipped with the medical facilities?

  • Our on board medical team, which include nurses, doctors and an Infection Control Officer (ICO) on board are certified to manage any emergency or medical crisis with a well-equipped medical facility, including a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine for on board COVID-19 testing.

15. What are the measures in place to ensure the virus is contained should there be an infection on board?

  • We are pleased to announce that Genting Dream under Resorts World Cruises had been awarded the CruiseSafe certification by Singapore Tourism Board, which incorporates both global health and sanitisation standards, as well as prevailing national guidelines.
  • In addition to strict and frequent cleaning and sanitization protocols on-board, the CruiseSafe protocols include health screenings, safe management measures and swift medical emergency response plans form the baseline protocols.

17. Will Resorts World Cruises be extending any form of compensation to consumers that were affected by World Dream’s cruise cancelations (under Dream Cruises) in Singapore?

  • Resorts World Cruises will offer complimentary cruises of equivalent value for all affected passengers impacted by World Dream’s cruise cancellations in Singapore for sailings between 2 March and 31 August 2022, which will be available via their original booking sources as a gesture of goodwill and to thank vacationers for their continuous support
  • Affected guests utilizing the complimentary cruise will need to sail by 28 April 2023.

18. Are there any other available options besides the complimentary cruise for consumers affected by World Dream’s cruise cancelation (under Dream Cruises) in Singapore?

  • As a gesture of goodwill, Resorts World Cruises will be offering complimentary cruises of equivalent value as the only option for all affected passengers impacted by World Dream’s cruise cancellations in Singapore for sailings between 2 March and 31 August 2022. Complimentary cruises are valid for sailings till 28 April 2023 only.

19. How do affected World Dream passengers opt for the complimentary cruise?

  • The complimentary cruises for affected World Dream passengers will be available via their original booking source.

  • Resorts World Cruises understand the concerns that some of the customers may have.

22. Is online check-in mandatory for guests?

Guests must proceed with the mandatory ONLINE CHECK-IN, which opens 72 hours before departure date and closes 24 hours before departure date. Guests must ensure correct contact details during ONLINE CHECK-IN.

23. Can I change my online check in timing?

Guests are required to follow the designated check-in timing as priority will be given to those who arrive at the terminal within their given check-in timing and to minimize congestion at the terminal.

24. What type of payments are accepted on board the ship?

On board the ship, Resorts World Cruises accepts the following payment method – Visa / Mastercard / UnionPay / GrabPay / AliPay / WeChat Pay / kakaopay

25. What is the Cellular at Sea service available on the Genting Dream?

  • Cellular at Sea is convenient, accessible and affordable cruise mobile phone service at sea.
  • The service allows passengers to talk, text and share in cabin and public spaces anywhere on the ship and receive calls and texts to their own mobile number while at sea.
  • Please check with your cellular carrier / local service provider for their specific cruise ship product offerings and specific rates.

Note: Cellular at Sea service is available once the cruise ship reaches 12 nautical miles from land (this is about 1 hour after the ship departs the pier). While at sea, your phone will say “Cellular at Sea” or “901” to indicate service is available (be sure “Airplane Mode” is OFF)

26. If my mobile device is left on and I do not use it, will I be charged?

  • In some cases, a mobile device that is left on, but not used, may incur charges.
  • If a voice call is received but not answered, and the caller leaves a voicemail, you may receive a charge for a voice call.
  • If a text message comes through and the mobile device is left on, you may be charged for a received text message.
  • Please note that smartphones (iOS, Android and other wireless devices) are constantly looking for data connections to perform updates and other synchronization steps.
  • Therefore, it is highly possible that if you leave your wireless device on, you will incur data charges.
  • Please contact your carrier / local service provider for more information on charges.
  • If guests do not wish to use such service, please switch your device to airplane mode and enable cruise WiFi or simply switch it off while at sea.

27. I did not use my mobile device onboard a cruise ship and I received charges, how do I dispute charges or get a refund?

  • Any questions or issues regarding billing must be handled solely through your local carrier / service provider provider.
