Day 1Delhi/Noida/Ghaziabad – Haridwar (215 Kms / 06 Hrs drive)

Meet our assistance with transport upon arrival in Delhi as per your predefined schedule and further proceed to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into the hotel and further you can proceed for Ganga Aarti at Hari Ki Pouriat at your own cost, if time permits. Hari ki Pouri is the central point of Haridwar and several local transport facilities are available to explore the local Haridwar and Edge of Ganges.

Day 2Haridwar – Barkot (215km / 08 Hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Barkot (Barkot is a beautiful hill station which is located on the foot of Yamunotri). On the way, you can visit the “Kempty Falls” on the way if time permits. Upon arrival at Barkot, check-in at the Hotel/Camp. Dinner arranges at Hotel.

Day 3Barkot– Jankichatti/Yamunotri – Barkot (45 kmsdrive by road/06 kms Trekking/pony/Palki)

Morning proceeds to Jankichatti(45 Km), Janki Chatti (8 km). Here you will begin the First hill Yatra of Yamunotri (6 Kms trekking).

Those who want to hire Pony/Palki/Kandi at their own cost (Approximate Cost suggested for Pony- Rs 1000/-, Palki 2500/-, Kandi – Rs 1000/-). Return via the same route back to Barkot. Dinner.

Yamunotri is the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death, and is the source of the river Yamuna. Surya the Sun has a daughter named the Yamuna. The river’s actual source is the Champasar Glacier, which is located 1 km from the shrine and has an elevation of 4,321 meters. When you arrive in Yamunotri in the afternoon, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and do Pooja.

Day 4 Barkot– Uttarkashi (85 kms / 04 Hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi (Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams)En-route visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Upon arrival Uttarkashi/Netala check into the hotel. Dinner.

Day 5Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 kms / 03 Hrs)

Early morning, breakfast at the hotel, and drive to Gangotri. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner.

Day 6 Uttarkashi – Guptkashi(225 kms / 09 hrsdrive)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Guptkashi(It’s situated at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath) The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Have your dinner.

Day 7Guptkashi – Sonprayag - Kedarnath (30 kms/02 hrs drive& 19 kms Trekking)

Early morning drive to Sonprayagtill Transport Parking. You have to take a local vehicle/jeep to reach Gaurikund (02 km) at your own cost. After reaching Gaurikund, you can start trekking for Kedarnath (19 km one way).

Those who want to hire Pony/Palki at their own cost (Approximate Cost suggested for Pony for return journey- PoniRs 2500/-, Palki 10000/- while those who are going by Helicopter which cost is approx Rupees 9000/- will be drop at Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi Helipad will take dropping accordingly.

 

Note: Please book your Helicopter/Poni/Palki on the same day returning while starting the early morning at 4:00 AM for those who are going by Trekking/Pony/Palki.

Upon arrival, visit KedarnathTtemple, after performing pooja again start trekking to return back to Sonprayag at right time and coordinate with the driver who will be waiting for you in Sonprayag/Phata/Sirsi at your respective time. Later back to hotel Have Dinner.

Day 8 Guptkashi/ Phata–Pandukeshwar / Badrinath(200 kms / 08 hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, Pipalkoti. Upon arrival Pandukeshwar/Badrinath, check into the hotel and visit Badrinath Temple if time permits.

Overnight stay at Pandukeshwar

Badrinath is a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The Badrinath temple, located at a height of 3133 meters, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Check into the hotel as you arrive. After some rest and refreshments, you’ll be ready to visit Badrinath Temple in the evening for darshan. However, you must first visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath, and then proceed to the temple.

Day 9Badrinath –Rudraprayag/Srinagar (187 Kms/07 Hrs drive)

Those who have been not visited Badrinath Temple earlier day have to visit Badrinath Temple. Do the rituals and pooja. And back to the hotel. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for Rudraprayag/Srinagar. En route you can drive through Karanprayag, Rudraprayag does the darshan, and click pics from the main road. . Upon arrival Rudraprayag/ Srinagar, check-in to the hotel. Have your dinner and

Day 10Rudraprayag/ Srinagar -Rishikesh - Haridwar (165 Kms/05 Hrs drive)

 

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Haridwar via Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Upon arrival, Rishikesh visits Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Munu Ki Reti. Later drive to Haridwar (25 Kms). Upon arrival Check into the Hotel.

Day 11Day 11: Haridwar – Delhi (205 kms/ 06 Hrs drive)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Delhi. Upon arrival drop at Railway Station/ Airport as per your pre-scheduled departure.

What is Char Dham Yatra?

Char Dham Yatra is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage. This is a series of four pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand, India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These places are believed to help achieve Moksha (salvation).
 

When does The Char Dham Yatra begin?

The Char Dham yatra opens on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya of Chaitya month and remains open until the day of Bhai Dooj (two days of Diwali).

How long do the Yatra take?

Depending on your starting point, the yatra will take you 11 to 12 days. You can choose to start your yatra from Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun according to your convenience.
