The Monastery Complex has been a beautiful decoration and a source of fame for Pechersk. It is the object of worship for all Orthodox Christians around the world. Multiple churches, towers, printing works, kilometers of maze-like underground tunnels containing numerous churches, and some of Kyiv’s richest museums can be found in this twenty-eight-hector active monastery. The Motherland Monument is one of Kyiv’s tourist attractions. The sculpture, which is part of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World Conflict, represents people’s achievements during the war.
