Even you want to head out and enjoy but confused as to which one to choose for your next trip, then here’s a little help.

In general, both Seychelles and Bali have a similar kind of weather, with minor variations. Lying very close to the equator, they encounter a mild climate with high humidity of about 80 percent during the year and hardly any spikes in temperature.

In Seychelles, the average year-round temperature is about 27 degrees Celsius while in Bali it is about 30 degrees Celsius. These lands do not have a specific summer or winter season, but a dry and a rainy season. In Seychelles, the rainy season is between November and February, while in Bali it is between October and March. The best months to visit Seychelles will be June to August because these are the coldest and driest months of the year and for Bali, these are April to June and September, not just because these are dry and sunny months, but also because it remains relatively less crowded with lower accommodation rates during this time.

Ideal Duration

To complete your trip to Seychelles as a whole which includes the islands scattered across the archipelago, a total of 3-4 days is required. Instead, Bali takes a maximum of 6-7 days to cover all the relevant premises. However, if you’ve visited this incredible destination before then change to 3-4 days for your journey.

Visa

Anyone planning a visit to Seychelles should be aware of the fact that Seychelles grants visa-free travel. However, the return ticket, passport, and documents indicating the purpose of the trip in their possession are to be kept at all times.
The same is true of Bali since visa-free access is given to tourists who intend to visit the place. But here comes the exception as the whole visa-free access to the country is valid for 30 days and cannot be extended. Also, obtain a visa exemption stamps from the immigration counter during your visit.

Expense

Currency

Seychelles currency is Seychellois rupee and is denoted by SCR and the currency of Bali is known as Indonesian Rupiah and symbolized as Rp.

While 1 SCR is equivalent to 4.20 INR, 1 Rp is equal to 0.0051 INR

To most people, the costs that need to be paid are important when planning a holiday to some specific location. Though flight tickets rely on which country you are traveling from, accommodation in Seychelles (both budget hotels and luxury resorts) and food prices appear to be much higher than in Bali.  However, costs for activities say water sports, entrance fees for different tourist attractions are more or less the same in both places. So regarding total cost, Bali wins.

Types of Travelers

In general, beaches in Seychelles are unmanned, and there are many remote and inaccessible places that require hiking and other difficulty reaching. And this may be inconvenient for families of children or older parents. It may be difficult to get some timely support in these areas if needed. And for families, Bali is a great choice. But those locations can also be avoided in Seychelles, and there are many hotels and resorts that are family-friendly offering babysitting and entertainment options for the little ones, as well as for older children and teenagers, very close to Bali.

This again depends on what the person wants to see and experience on the trip for solo travelers. If one is interested in spending lazy days in a quiet climate, the option should be at Seychelles. Yet be prepared to be surrounded by couples as this is a popular destination for honeymoons.

Seychelles is ideal as a honeymoon destination because it remains less crowded with secluded beaches, and the naturally stunning scenery adds to the romantic charm of the country. But this doesn’t mean Bali is a bad spot for couples altogether. Above all, it depends on what concerns you both have.

ACTIVITIES

If the beach is where your heart and soul lie, then without a second thought, choose Seychelles! Its clean, palm-lined beaches, white sands, and azure blue waters are among the best in the world. On the other hand beaches in Bali are somewhat overrated. Both places offer some beautiful hiking trails, but in elevation, the ones at Seychelles are much lower.

Bali finds popularity among those people who, along with beaches, are able to visit the mountains too. The emergence of active volcanoes and beautiful terraced paddy fields is an especially characteristic feature of Bali ‘s landscape.

Bali is the place to be when you’re a party animal! It has plenty of pubs, nightclubs, and lounges to match different tastes and pockets. Each weeknight is perfect enough to be partying in Bali. In comparison, nightlife in Seychelles is a low-key affair. If you want to indulge your holiday in a lot of shopping, then every day, Bali wins over Seychelles. Bali has it all, from glitzy malls with top foreign brands to lively street markets featuring local crafts. Contrastingly, shopping in Seychelles is often connected to small local markets selling souvenirs.

As well as Bali, Seychelles offers a variety of water sports and adventure activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, kayaking, etc. In Seychelles, however, motor-based water sports such as parasailing, jet-skiing, water skiing, and so on are very small. So, if you’re interested in these, you ‘re better off going to Bali.

Other than these, Bali also offers some thrilling additional activities such as rafting, flyboarding, maritime walking, etc.

Bali has almost 10,000 Hindu temples with beautiful architecture, traditional Balinese dance and daily music performances and these are the best way to experience the local culture. When you’re choosing Seychelles, you’ll have to skip them.

A journey to these fascinating islands can be considered successful, with so much to cover in these two destinations. We are positive that choosing between a trip to Seychelles vs. a holiday in Bali is difficult. Nonetheless, our only suggestion will be to schedule your trip in advance, as we only want you to spend a gala time among the two at your favorite island destination.
